The Boffo Team’s Favourite Easter Spots and Traditions

We’re all about tradition here at Boffo.

Of course we’re big advocates for traditions that should never go out of fashion like good, old-fashioned, customer service.

Members of our team are also pretty good at celebrating Easter traditions in a range of ways…

We love escaping to the Clare Valley at Easter, meandering along the Riesling Trail and exploring the Mintaro Maze. - Robert

Easter is a special time spent with life-long friends at their beachside home where we have a relaxing break. - Giulia

My family’s go-to destination every Easter is the Point Turton Caravan Park. We absolutely love it here – a beautiful jetty and one of SA’s best beaches. - Kristen

Every year we go to Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula to visit my dad and sister. Such a lovely spot where we just sit back and enjoy a wine while looking out to the ocean! - Rhianna

And if we’re not going camping, heading to the coast or escaping to a wine district, we celebrate at home with family get-togethers and easter egg hunts, or we hop along to a few of our favourite local hotspots…

Yolk Café

Open Good Friday and Easter Monday, Yolk Café on North East Road at Walkerville has the brunch, lunch, and the best brews for an eggcellent Easter treat!

Jeeez Louise

At Easter there’s nowhere better to meet for coffee and snacks with friends and family than at Jeeez Louise on Walkerville Terrace. Their scrumptious, chocolatey, home-made hot cross buns just melt in your mouth…

Adelaide Zoo

Autumn can bring truly beautiful weather for lazy days at the zoo, and Easter is the perfect time to go. This Easter the kids can hop on in and enter the Easter colouring competition as well as finding three giant easter eggs to win yummy prizes from Melba’s Chocolates.

Bounce

Located in the Greenacres shopping centre, Bounce (formerly Latitude) is the perfect place to let the kids burn off excess energy, especially if the changeable weather at Easter isn’t coming to the party.

Funtopia Play Café

Also a great indoor option for the kids, you can find Funtopia on Main North Road, Sefton Park. When the Easter Bunny has left way too much chocolate for the kids, they can let loose on the indoor adventure playground and the state-of-the-art rock climbing wall.

Markets

Staying at home over the long weekend can be as relaxing or as busy as you like. Why not check out a few Easter markets – follow the Farmer’s Market Easter Trail at the Adelaide Showgrounds or get cracking early at the Magill Sunrise Market on Campbelltown Oval.

From all of us here at Boffo we wish you a safe and eggspecially happy Easter full of family fun and frivolity - and yummy chocolate of course!
