Celebrating Easter in Adelaide

Easter is a time when many Adelaide families share traditional celebrations.

That may be family gatherings or fun outings, day trips with friends, camping holidays or even a few pre-winter maintenance projects around the home.

Whatever you’re doing in Adelaide this Easter, take some time to appreciate your beautiful family, friends, loved ones… and good quality chocolate! Take care if you’re travelling, be careful if you’re tackling challenging home projects, and don’t forget - it’s not Easter if there aren’t lashings of buttered hot cross buns and chocolate eggs consumed.

Have you planned your Easter events yet? If not, you need to hop to it. Here are a few suggestions from the egg-spert team of real estate professionals at Boffo Real Estate.

Adelaide Easter Carnival

You’ll have a cracking good time at the Adelaide Easter Carnival & Easter Egg Hunt, on over the four day Easter period at Civic Park, 995 North East Road, Modbury. With hidden treasures to be found, amusement rides, food trucks, face painting, a colouring competition and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny, this is the Easter carnival every child (even the overgrown ones…) wants to attend.

Meadows Easter Fair

Take a scenic drive through the Adelaide hills and appreciate the glorious display of colourful autumn leaves before arriving at the Meadows Easter Fair. Open between 9am and 4pm every day during Easter, the Meadows Oval at 51 Mawson Road will feature over 100 stalls with something for every family member to enjoy, from Lego building to gin tasting!

Adelaide Farmers’ Market Easter Fun

At the Adelaide Farmers’ Market, the kids can partake in a riddle-solving, token-trading Easter Egg Hunt and the chance to win an Easter Egg Hamper on Easter Sunday. Celebrations kick off at 8:30am, and the Easter Bunny will be hopping in between 9am and 11am. There will be live music, face painting, and of course all the usual farm fresh produce to fill up the fridge with.

Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival

Easter at Oakbank is a 150-year-old tradition loved by many Adelaide folk. Get cracking on your campsite booking if you want to camp at the racetrack, or you can commute and take a picnic or indulge in the many food and beverage options on site. With live music, fashion shows, and special activities for the kids, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday at Oakbank is an iconic experience.

Easter at Jetty Road Glenelg

Summer may be over, but Easter is a great time to revisit Jetty Road Glenelg and join in the fun-filled Easter festivities. With special Easter menus at many venues and an Easter Egg Hunt at Jimmy Melrose Park on Saturday 19th April, families will have an egg-cellent time down at the Bay this Easter.

The team at Boffo Real Estate wish you and your loved ones a safe and egg-specially happy Easter full of family fun and chocolate!
