A dynamic duo who are twice as nice, brothers Ivan and Luigi are the exciting double act that make up Boffo Real Estate’s Team Carovigno.

Ivan and Luigi Carovigno don’t do anything by halves. Instead, they bring twice the energy and double the drive to the Boffo sales team and the Adelaide real estate market.

After highly successful years developing leadership skills, strong work ethics and shared passion for success as official fundraising officers for national charities, Luigi and Ivan are now quickly establishing themselves as leading real estate agents in Adelaide, with a focus market area of Prospect.

In sharing their passion, wisdom and enthusiasm for the Adelaide real estate market, Luigi says, “Current auction clearance rates are indicative of a sellers’ market, meaning the majority of purchasers are in a greater rush to buy than the sellers are to sell.”

Ivan says, “Currently, the market is very strong. Clearance rates are improving, and prices are heading in a strong upward trajectory. Although we can’t be certain how long this will continue, the spring selling season appears to be in full motion.”

21C Dobson Drive, Pooraka - Luigi’s first listing with Boffo Real Estate.

“The campaign got off to a relatively slow start with 12 groups (including neighbours) that came through during a five week period. The property didn’t sell at auction, but after reassessing the original $700,000 price guide we set a price range of $680,000 to $730,000 and the home sold shortly after for $730,000.”

2 Babilla Street, Fairview Park - an emotional sale for vendors who didn’t experience open communication with their previous agent.

“There were lots of memories associated with this home. It was previously listed with another agent for three months but remained unsold. The vendors really appreciated our communication plan and said that due to the frequency of communication and our vendor reports they felt like they truly knew what was happening behind closed doors.”

Further strong sales results included:

2/1205-1209 Grand Junction Road Hope Valley sold for $560,000

2/1 Brittlewood Drive Eyre sold for $551,000

Team Carovigno’s sale at 2/1 Brittlewood Drive Eyre set a new record for the most expensive home in the area under 300sqm. The property sold at auction for $551,000.

Discussing the success of recent open inspections, Ivan says, “Our campaign for 34 Russell Road Athelstone drew over 130 attendees – a huge response that helped generate strong competition and a great result for the vendor.”

Luigi says, “Open inspections have been consistently busy. I’ve found buyers are in a greater rush to buy than sell which has led to very short times spent on the market and very busy open inspections.”

When Ivan is not loudly singing the praises of every client’s property to potential buyers, he’s busy singing with the Italian Chorale and Arts Society in Adelaide. Ivan’s choir performs regularly at community events and recently sung both the Australian and Italian national anthems at Fogolar Furlan on Anzac Day.
